|
How far in advance should I request a speaker for my meeting? |
| We suggest that you request a speaker at least 3 months in advance of your desired event date, to allow enough time to confirm your speaker, make travel arrangements and promote your event. |
As a user group leader, what am I requested to do in order to request a speaker? |
| First, your user group must be in good standing with INETA APAC. Second, we expect you to promote INETA Speaker Bureau events to your members and others who may be interested by advertising the INETA APAC event on your web site, e-mail distribution if you are set up to do so, and any other promotions that you usually do to attract attendees. Third, we expect your user group to complete the provided Speaker Evaluations of the speaker and return them to us after the event. |

| INETA reimburses user group's expenses related to the purchase of pizza and soda for the INETA Speakers event. Please intimate apac.ugrelations@ineta.org before such an activity. You would need to submit expense receipts to INETA APAC after the presentation for prompt reimbursement. The maximum reimbursement that we usually provide is $2.50 per attendees.
