  • User Group Hyderabad (MUGH) launch of Office and Vista
    by Gnana Arun Ganesh G

Microsoft User Group Hyderabad (MUGH) launch of Office and Vista was a grand event that happened on Sunday, April 29, 2007. We had a flood of enthusiasts pouring in despite the event being held on a hot summer day at the Microsoft Campus, Gachibowli.

With close to 150 attendees turning in and a variety of topics ranging from Windows Vista – User Account Control to MOSS 2007 Templates, it was a full fledged technical feast for all the developers who turned into the event. There were exciting quiz competitions in the midst of the technology rains from the sessions to keep the audience in gears.

Many of them were audience who had earlier tasted our DevCon 2006 and turned in with eager expectations. We also had interesting announcements from Harish Ranganathan, Microsoft India on a Windows Vista Sidebar Gadget Competition, a open competition for developing cool Sidebar Gadgets. The event went on till 7:30 pm in the night and people were willing to stay back and hear more from us.

    Some feedbacks from the attendees

“MUGH management is doing wonderful job by conducting these types of events and we are learning a lot about all the latest technologies of Microsoft”

“It was really exciting to be part of the sessions. You can never realize whats going on in your field and by attending these sessions one gets very good information. I really appreciate the effort core team members of MUGH offered to make the event successful.”

There were goodies from our sponsors MAQ Software and also lunch served for the attendees.

Overall MUGH Launch of Office and Vista turned out to be a huge success.
